O NOTHERN LINGS pode ser chamado, sem dúvida nenhuma, de um super time de estrelas do Metal Finlandês.
O grupo não é uma banda comum, mas um conjunto de quatro vocalistas, frontmen de bandas bem sucedidas de Heavy Metal. Eles queriam criar algo especial juntos e tiveram a idéia de arranjos para clássicos dos anos oitenta em versão Metal - na qual todos os músicos puderam contribuir. Não é nada além da imaginação como poderia soar, caso Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH), Tonny Kakko (SONATA ARCTICA), J.P. Leppäluoto (CHARON) e J. Ahola (TERÄSBETONI) cantassem juntos. É real!
